Dedicated to one of the oldest and most culturally important Renaissance cities in Italy – Siena – talented perfumer Paolo Terenzi gifts us with its scented namesake: Sienè. Noble Tuscan woods such as a shady green cypress, a pale green, sweet olive tree, and bright poplar bark have been freshened up with a gin-and-tonic hit of juniper berry and warmed through with a heart of red Indian patchouli, sharp Tuscan acacia flower honey, fine Florentine orris root, and a leathery Cambodian oud that exudes the luxury of suede and age-old woods more ably than any Tuscan leather artisan store. Powdery musks and Indian sandalwood give a noble oriental silkiness to the drydown. Powerful, sweeping, woody-leather-oud masculinity in a bottle.
Top notes are Leather, Cypress and Juniper; middle notes are Incense, Patchouli, iris and Myrrh; base notes are Honey, Amber, Sandalwood and Musk.
