What would peace and comfort smell like? Xerjoff chose the centuries-old temple lodging, Shunkoin, as it’s inspiration for this installment of the line’s club-themed series. Shunkoin is not a literal evocation of a temple – no austere wood and incense composition here, instead Xerjoff’s created one of the most gorgeous and comforting creamy cherry blossom fragrances we’ve ever smelled. It’s an expression of meditative peace and tranquility, with a little sensuality mixed in.
A delicate almond-softened cherry blossom floats on top of creamy sandalwood, powdery ambers, and a soft whisper of tea. Its comforting milky texture and languid fullness is shaped by the faintest waft of sweet olibanum and raw vanilla bean.
