Ray-Flection
Ray-flection is an olfactory poem captured in a blinding ray of sunlight focused on a perfect bloom of mimosa. Iridescent and powerfully warm, the sunray is represented in an opening of sparkling aldehydes and bright, sharply crisp mandarin, which heats the sweet, fresh mimosa until it fills the air with honeyed intensity. The aromatic side of mimosa sings as well, buoyed by surrounding violets and fresh cedar trees. Ultimately the sun melts the mimosa into pure honey itself, a syrupy, waxy sweetness that dances through the light and reminds us that this lovely reverie is, ultimately, just a dream. Luckily, like all the best dreams, Rayflection lingers for hours of mouthwatering floral bliss- the better to leave a smile on your face all day long.
