The House Of Oud Just Before Perfume by The House Of Oud, The House of Oud Just Before is an Oriental Woody fragrance with warm, spicy scents. The scent begins with top notes of bergamot, lemon, and saffron. Bergamot comes from a citrus plant that grows in France. It is similar to a lemon, but it adds a spicy, floral quality. Saffron is a spice that comes from the crocus sativus flower and adds a Middle Eastern flavor to the mix. Middle notes include palo santo, ylang-ylang, and myrrh. Palo santo is also part of the citrus family, but it also carries notes of pine, mint, and lemon. Ylang-ylang is a floral scent, and myrrh brings in an earth scent reminiscent of black licorice. Vanilla, benzoin, amber, and sandalwood make up the base notes. Benzoin has a smell similar to vanilla with a medicinal finish.
