Description
Borea
Inspired by a journey to one of Italy’s most romantic cities, Sanremo – famous for its beautiful flowers, glorious climate and the gentle sea breeze from the Gulf of Tigullien – this scent captures the incredible floral aroma spilling out of the city’s numerous terraces whereupon every imaginable flower blooms. Jasmine, magnolias, lilies of the valley, freesias, countless rose varieties and the highly valued, unique white tuberose – all come rushing out in one exquisite breath when the nozzle on this divine perfume is pressed. Sanremo is famous for its extravagant mansions and beautifully landscaped gardens. In labyrinths of carefully maintained hedges, seductive scents permeate the air. One of the most beautiful and magical of these villas is called “Borea” – a magnificent, royal structure with an enchanted garden filled to bursting with rare and precious flowers. The top note of Borea is as unusual as the brilliant genius who designed this garden. The exotic sweetness of coconut, accompanied by a combination of pear and juicy plum, is perfectly balanced by a subtly bitter almond note. These unique topnotes rest on a bed of precious flowers that seem to come directly from the Garden of Eden. The heart is the true essence of the fragrance: the mature and hypnotic seduction of jasmine, paired with the distinctive and irresistible charm of tuberose, this heady bouquet of white flowers underlined by a flirtatious stirring of freesia and musk rose. Lilies of the valley, a black magnolia that blooms only once every two years, and white irises form a crisp, cool, clean counterpart to all this sweet, heady floralcy. A thickly resinous oriental base of Indian sandalwood, vanilla, and musk is given a touch of earthy bitterness in the form of oakmoss. Beguiling and enchanting.
Top notes are Coconut, Almond, Pear and Plum; middle notes are Tuberose, Jasmine, Freesia and Rose; base notes are Vanilla, Sandalwood, Musk and Oakmoss.
