The word ‘Posì’ means potion and/or poison in ancient Greek. The ancients used the word not only for a magic potion but also to describe the strength of the potion itself, because Posi was the most potent of all poisons, which could fell a man with no hope of escape. Persuasive and beautiful, just like its bottle, this new creation of the V Canto line is inspired by the seduction and alchemy of Lucretia Borgia. The bottle is covered by hand in 24 karat gold leaf, adding further to the precious uniqueness of this creation. The creation opens with the hypnotic mellowness of the purest extract of Bulgarian rose, in which the essence of a thousand petals has been distilled into a single drop of precious oil. This priceless essence fuses with Sicilian saffron accompanied by the effervescence of citrus, with predominating notes of Sorrento lemon and Calabrian bergamot. This seductive and hypnotic top is carried on a warm, enveloping middle lending an intense and generous strength to the creation, with the freshness of Bourbon geranium and the luxuriant delicacy of Polynesian Ylang Ylang blended masterfully with the aphrodisiac effect of precious ambergris underscored by the strength of cypriol.
